Your iPhone has a calendar that is great to help you organize your life. Enhanced speed and efficiency can be achieved by directly entering events instead of using the "+" function. While you are in "Day" view, if you tap and hold on any hour, you can automatically create an event for that particular time. You will free up more time for other things!

Do you find yourself texting the same people constantly? Add their numbers to your favorites. You can use your recent and favorite call lists as a place to not only return a call, but to also send text messages. Press the arrow right next to a contact's name and then choose text message. This is great for quickly finding out about all the recent calls and texts that you just missed.

Has the screen on your iPhone ever frozen? First, press the Sleep/Wake button. If that fails try pressing the home button on your iPhone along with the sleep/wake button. If that still doesn't work try resetting your phone by holding the home button for 5 seconds.

Have you ever missed out on a great picture because your couldn't access your iPhone's camera quickly? Use this shortcut instead. If you have locked the screen, tap twice on the Home button. You should have a little icon for a camera on the screen, along the bottom. Hitting it will instantly throw your iPhone into camera mode.

Another benefit of the iPhone is the ability to navigate. Use your iPhone's map to provide you with directions to get you where you need to go. Bookmark the map facility so that you can use it whenever needed.

Avoid wasting your time using suggested words on the iPhone. If your phone gives you a suggestion, all you need to do is tap outside of the suggestion box, and it will disappear, so that you are no longer bothered by it. This will keep you from having to click on the little "x" every time you want to dismiss a word.

The iPhone is enormously popular, and with plenty of good reasons why. You can reach can reach a whole new world of opportunities, both social and professional.
