Analysts See Resolve In Android Upon Apple Conquering Samsung

By Dean Prater

The just determined legal patent struggle among Samsung and Apple has been producing a lot of excitement, especially given the verdict has come at a time as Apple ready to make public the iPhone 5 soon. A lot of consumers may consider writing Android off saying that this verdict signifies the fall of Android (and Google) and the establishment of world domination of Apple.

Conversely, you do not have anything to panic about if you are a wannabe developer, enrolled in an Android class. Experts believe that this is a minor stumbling block for Android (although Samsung might be affected more than they are letting on. All are of the opinion that Android's progress will undeniably persist in the coming days and will not be hindered at all.

Gene Munster, an analyst with Piper Jaffray, says that Samsung will also be safe and sound in the future. He wrote that Samsung is probably the only competitor who is talented enough to give Apple any real contest. He is of the opinion that the Galaxy SIII proved that Samsung is indeed on its way to bear out that there are smartphones that can grapple with the iPhone in superiority, features, pricing and inclusion of latest systems.

He moreover said that this court decision is just a temporary cloud and Apple will also consider it a minor victory in its battle against Android (largely Samsung).

In his article, he highlighted the fact that we shouldn't consider Android as a product of Samsung by itself, although it is the only gadget that is manufacturing competitive Android handsets. He said that Android as an OS has advanced impressively right from the point it was released and it will continue to do so for the reason it is an open source application.
